A newspaper spadea is an advertising format used in print publications, particularly newspapers, where an additional page is folded around the outside of a section of the newspaper. At South Texas College I made various spadeas which were advertised through the local newspaper the Monitor

I won a prize for these!
I had the opportunity to participate in the 2019 Medallion Awards for the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) and won a Gold Medallion in the category of Print Advertisement Series.
All Ads were published in the RGV Mega Doctor Newspaper.
